What is TREPAC?
You’ve probably heard the term TREPAC, but do you know what it stands for? TREPAC is the Texas Real Estate Political Action Committee. A voluntary, nonprofit, unincorporated group, TREPAC’s membership is built of REALTORS® and other interested parties who share a common goal of protecting and preserving private property rights.
As a political action committee, TREPAC complies with all federal and state campaign contribution laws. TREPAC receives voluntary investments which are used to support candidates for federal, state and local offices. Selected candidates have shown their support for protecting private property rights and promoting a healthy real estate environment.
TREPAC Basics: What You Need to Know
If real estate is your profession, then politics is your business. TREPAC fights hard to ensure your interests are protected and guarded on the local, state and national level.
Your TREPAC Investment
TREPAC is the muscle that stands behind the advocacy efforts of ABoR, the Texas Association of REALTORS® (TAR) and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). Help advocate for REALTOR® interests by making your investment in TREPAC.
TREPAC Accomplishments
So, you’ve heard about TREPAC fighting hard to preserve private property rights and protect the REALTOR® Party, but what exactly have they accomplished. With a proven success record, TREPAC has defeated proposals to implement a transfer tax, helped lower property taxes and exempt personal autos from ad valorem taxes.
Disclaimer: Federal law prohibits soliciting from individuals who are not REALTORS® or ABoR members. Information disseminated in the public domain about TREPAC might be considered a solicitation, therefore investments received from non-REALTOR®/ABoR members through this online campaign will be returned.
