The ABoR TREPAC Leadership wants to discuss with you the basics that every REALTOR® member should know about TREPAC.


Q:  What does TREPAC stand for ?

A:  The Texas Real Estate Political Action Committee which represents REALTORS® and the real estate industry.


Q:  What is RPAC and how it is different from TREPAC ?

A:  RPAC or the REALTOR® Political Action Committee is TREPAC on the national level. We are one and the same, because we work together for you.


Q:  Who does TREPAC support?

A:  TREPAC supports local, state and national candidates, issues and incumbents that support REALTOR® issues.


Q:  Who determines which candidates TREPAC supports?

A: Your REALTOR® peers do. Volunteer committees at the local, state and federal levels interview, review and discuss all candidate recommendations.


Q:  Is TREPAC Republican or Democrat?

A:  Neither. TREPAC is non-partisan. We are the REALTOR® Party. The Realtor Party represents you, private property rights and the real estate profession.

 

Q:  Where does my TREPAC investment go?

A:  For every dollar raised by ABoR, 50% goes to Texas Association of REALTORS® , 30% goes to the National Association of REALTORS® and 20% goes to the Austin Board of REALTORS®.
