Austin Board of REALTORS® (ABoR) delivers valuable resources to our members and helps facilitate the dream of homeownership for Central Texans. Working consistently to fulfill our mission, we strengthen our position as one of the nation’s premier real estate associations.

In 2017, ABoR membership included over 12,000 individuals, including more than 11,000 REALTORS®.

AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP

 


Individuals or organizations that work with or market to REALTORS®, but do not hold an active real estate license, are eligible for Affiliate membership. Affiliate members have interests in real estate related information, are in agreement with the objectives of ABoR, and may benefit from ABoR activities.

How It Works

 

The first individual from an organization joins as a Corporate Affiliate and other staff within that firm may then join as Individual Affiliates. Corporate Affiliate status includes membership in the Austin Board of REALTORS® and Texas Association of REALTORS®. Individual Affiliate status provides membership in the Austin Board of REALTORS® only.

MEMBER EXCLUSIVE ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITY

ABoR Classes

ABoR invites Affiliate members to host breakfast, snacks, and luncheons for our CE and education classes that take place on almost a daily basis at the ABoR Headquarters, ABoR North in Cedar Park, and ABoR South locations. Only Affiliate members will be sent the schedule of classes and given the opportunity to reserve a spot to host and market their business.

Benefits:

  • 2 to 3 minutes at the beginning of the class to introduce your company and services (No PowerPoint presentations)
  • The option to put handouts in the meeting room and/or distribute items to attendees
  • The chance to collect business cards from attendees and do a giveaway

New Member Orientation

Held 3 Times a Month
New Member Orientation is a mandatory class for all members of ABoR. With record numbers of new members joining every month we offer New Member Orientation at ABoR Headquarters and ABoR South. Only our Affiliate members are invited to take advantage of this opportunity.

Benefits:

  • 2 to 3 minutes at the beginning of the program to introduce your company and services
  • The ability to distribute items to attendees
  • The chance to collect business cards from attendees and do a giveaway

Each orientation session is limited to two Affiliate company advertisers.

Forums

Held 6 to 8 Times a Year

ABoR Forums are monthly events that bring together a wide range of ABoR members to discuss industry hot topics, professional development, and community issues. In 2017, 1200 plus ABoR members attended an ABoR Forum and sessions averaged 175 attendees. Only our Affiliate members are invited to take advantage of this opportunity.
