Supra

When you sign up as a subscriber of Austin/Central Texas Realty Information Services (ACTRIS), you also can subscribe to our key and lockbox service provided by Supra. Electronic keys allow you to access lockboxes which provide storage for property keys.

Subscribers have a choice between two types of keys: the Display Key (dKey), which is leased from Supra through ABoR, and the Electronic Key (eKey), which is a PDA or Smart Phone owned by the agent. The ABoR MLS utilizes infrared lockboxes. If you experience issues with your lockbox service, you may contact Supra Support at 877/699-6787.

ActiveKEY

The ActiveKEY system, which will replace dKeys beginning October 5, enables a cradle-free device to bring you real-time alerts each time an iBox is opened. The enhanced services of ActiveKEYs are being provided at no additional cost to MLS subscribers until April 2010. New ActiveKEY pricing will be reflected in the next MLS billing cycle; ActiveKEYs will cost of $90.00 plus tax every six months. Insurance is available for as little as $12.00 plus tax, every six months. The replacement cost for lost or stolen keys that are not protected by insurance is $259.99 plus tax. The switch to ActiveKEYS will not affect eKey users. Refer to the “dKey Exchange Resources” in the box at the lower right for more information regarding the key swap.

eKey

eKey service with your PDA or Smartphone, allows you to open lockboxes. Two service levels are available through Supra. A $108.25 activation fee applies to either service. Although now certified by Supra, Blackberry devices are now currently available for use through ABoR. eKey service is billed monthly by Supra. Payments will be automatically deducted from your designated credit card. Insurance is not available for eKeys.

Lockboxes

Lockboxes are available for purchase at the Austin Board of REALTORS®, 10900 Stonelake Blvd., Suite 100, Austin, Texas. Each lockbox costs $97.43.
