Supra

When you sign up as a subscriber of Austin/Central Texas Realty Information Services (ACTRIS), you also can subscribe to our key and lockbox service provided by Supra. Electronic keys allow you to access lockboxes which provide storage for property keys.

Subscribers have a choice between two types of keys: the Display Key (dKey), which is leased from Supra through ABoR, and the Electronic Key (eKey), which is a PDA or Smart Phone owned by the agent. The ABoR MLS utilizes infrared lockboxes.

Electronic Key Products

Display Key (dKey)

The dKey, is a keypad that is the same basic shape and size of a digital pager. The dKey is $12.95 per month (plus tax), billed by ABoR/MLS on a semi-annual basis, plus a $108.25 activation fee. Insurance is available for as little as $25.98 a year. The replacement cost for lost or stolen keys that are not protected by insurance is $150 and an affidavit is required.

eKey

eKey service incorporates a shell with your PDA or Smartphone, allowing you to open lockboxes. Two service levels are available through Supra; eKey Basic costs $16.55 per month (plus tax) and eKey Professional costs $27.55 per month (plus tax). A $108.25 activation fee applies to either service. Click here for details on the service levels and a list of compatible devices. eKey service is billed monthly by Supra. Payments will be automatically deducted from your designated credit card. Insurance is not available for eKeys.

Lockboxes

Lockboxes are available for purchase at the Austin Board of REALTORS®, 10900 Stonelake Blvd., Suite 100, Austin, Texas. Each lockbox costs $97.43.
