Plan activities – Choose family-friendly activities that will promote interaction among attendees. |

Promote the event – Publicize your event through local community organizations, condo and homeowner associations and by posting “save the date” fliers at local businesses. Post signs at the ends of streets and parks with event details, and include an e-mail address and phone number for people to contact if they have questions or want to volunteer. |

Find sponsors, if necessary – Visit local shops to solicit food and drink donations or to sponsor an activity.
