Nominations for Local and State Leadership Positions Due June 30
Are you looking for ways to become
more involved with ABoR? The
Austin Board of REALTORS® is
looking to fill the following positions:
five ABoR directors; ABoR
chairman-elect; ABoR
secretary/treasurer; two Texas
Association of REALTORS® (TAR)
directors and two TAR Regional
vice presidents. The deadline for
nominations is June 30.
ABoR directors are elected to threeyear
terms and function as association
trustees. The chairman-elect
and secretary/treasurer positions
each carry a one-year term.
However, the chairman-elect must
satisfy a two-year commitment, as
he or she automatically becomes
chairman the second January after
being elected. The prerequisites for
these positions are available in
ABoR Bylaws, Article XI Sections
1, 3 and 5 (www.abor.com/about_abor/bylaws.pdf).
TAR directors comprise the governance
arm of the TAR during their
three-year terms. The TAR regional
vice presidents for Region 15 are
the primary link between TAR and
ABoR. Application requirements
for TAR leadership may be found in
the TAR Bylaws, Article V Section
III (http://texasrealtors.com/web/2/16/bylaws.pdf).
Applications are available online at
www.abor.com/rsvp/abor_leadership_form.cfm. If you have questions
regarding the available positions or
the application process, contact
Vicki Harris at 512/454-7636, ext.

Rate Plug Marketing System Now Available to MLXchange Subscribers
Today’s homebuyers are using the Internet more in their search for property listings as well as for
mortgage information. ABoR is working with RatePlug to bring those two important components together.
RatePlug integrates real-time mortgage payment information with MLS property information.
This free program enables agents to provide clients: live, interactive mortgage payment information based
on accurate interest rates; property tax information; and insurance and assessments for each property listing
they view. In addition, agents can use the Property Flyer System (PFS) to notify your loan officer when you list
a property and automatically create an open house flyer. The flyers contain MLS and mortgage payment
information specific to that property as well as promote both the agent and the loan officer.
For more information or to enroll in the RatePlug program, visit www.rateplug.com/actris.
