Beef Up Your TREPAC Investment at the Chili Cook-off

Time is running out to register your team for the second annual TREPAC Chili Cook-off. Show your fellow REALTORS® that you have got the hottest chili around while protecting your industry with a TREPAC investment. The event will take place on Thursday, March 19 from 6-8 p.m. in the ABoR Auditorium. Click here to register your team or purchase tickets.

 

For $99, a team of two can register for the cook-off. Entries will be accepted for vegetarian and meat recipes, and the team with the most votes will receive the “People’s Choice” award. A Showmanship Trophy will also be awarded to the team with the best-decorated table, so get creative.

 

If you’re not up to cooking, your purchase of a $25 ticket will allow you to sample all the chili entries and vote for your favorite. For more information, contact the Government and Community Affairs Department at 512/454-7636.

 

ACTRIS Participation Fees Due March 15

Reliable, accurate MLS content is one of the key resources in a REALTOR'S® success. Ensure your continued achievement by paying your semi-annual ACTRIS participation fees by March 15, 2009. Your ACTRIS subscription provides you with 24-hour access to the MLXchange MLS system, covering 15 counties in the Central Texas region. In addition, you are also entitled to a number of free MLS tools and resources, including ListHub, Pocket Real Estate Wireless and the MarketMetrics residential statistical reports.

 

Invoices for your spring 2009 ACTRIS participation fees will be distributed in mid-February; at this time, the balance will also be added to the “My Account” section of Abor.com. According to Article VI, Section 6.2 of the ACTRIS Rules and Regulations, subscribers are bound to pay their participation fees regardless of whether they receive an invoice if they wish to enjoy continued use of the MLS system.
