Gather Your Neighbors for a Night Out
Help strengthen the Austin community by participating in National Night Out 2010 on October 5. National Night Out (NNO) works to bring communities together to heighten awareness, strengthen neighborhoods and build community relations. Hosting a NNO event is a great way for you to do all of this and more within your own community. ABoR is encouraging REALTORS® and homeowners associations to join the fun and host their own NNO event. To help you, we’ve created a section on our website that contains detailed information about Austin’s NNO initiative and how to get involved, as well as an event planning checklist and sample flyers to promote your event.

As NNO is fast approaching, so is the deadline to officially register with the Austin Police Department (APD) for National Night Out. Return your completed NNO application to APD by September 15 for a better chance of having APD or other emergency personnel at your event. However, you don’t have to officially register with APD to host your own National Night Out. Learn more about National Night Out and help spread the word about this exciting event!
