Foundation Scholarships Now Available

Do you know a graduating high school senior who could use a scholarship to assist with higher education costs? Invite them to apply for one of the ABoR Foundation’s 2011 scholarships. Applications are currently being accepted through Friday, March 11 at 5:00 p.m. Eligible applicants include graduating high school seniors who plan to attend a Texas college, university, or accredited trade school and who reside in Travis, Williamson, Lee, Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, Blanco or Burnet County. There are ten scholarships available for $1,000 each.

The ABoR Foundation has shown its support for students pursuing higher education for more than 20 years. Encourage a deserving high school senior you know to apply. Applications can be found online. Pay Your Bills with Added Convenience

In December, ABoR launched a new Interactive Voice Response System (IVR) that allows REALTOR® members and MLS subscribers to pay invoices conveniently and securely 24 hours a day, seven days a week via a debit or credit card. This means you can pay a bill anytime that works for you, without being restricted to standard business hours or needing access to a computer. With this new IVR system, members who wish to pay by phone will use their keypads to pay bills, instead of speaking with a representative. After your payment is made, you’ll receive an e-mail as a receipt of payment.

While payments can still be made by check, in-person and online, the new IVR system will decrease financial risk while increasing convenience. Implementation of this new system is just one of the many ways that ABoR is striving to provide the highest level of financial security to you as a member.

If you haven’t used the new system yet, we encourage you to give it a try. You must have a license number and your date of birth to use the system. REALTORS® and MLS subscribers can utilize the IVR system by calling 512-651-2625.
