ABOR AND REALTOUR COLLABORATE ON NEW STATS PACKAGE

October 17, 2005 - The Austin Board of REALTORS® and Realtour have joined forces to provide ABoR members with easier access to the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) information they need. Realtour has begun posting updated MLS data nightly on the Tempo Sidebar. To access the statistical information, click on the "ABoR Stats" link located on "My Sidebar" in Tempo. The information menu contains the following reports: weekly broadcast; monthly broadcast; monthly closed residential units; monthly new residential listings; monthly residential sold volume; average sales price by price range; unit sales by price range; monthly closed units comparison; closed units (YTD) comparison; multi-year units by status; and area reports.

Realtour employee Michael Landon pointed out the benefits of such a service in the ever-expanding Austin market, saying, "Timely, accurate statistical information is very important to a REALTOR® in determining house values. The Realtour development team has produced an online method to enable you to produce the best comparative analysis with the latest market information.
