SUPRA LOCKBOX EXCHANGE SET FOR OCTOBER 17-20

September 13, 2005 - In May 2004, Supra ceased manufacturing the gray AEII electronic lockboxes. Beginning November 1, agents will incur a fee for using old AEII lockboxes on active listings. To help phase out this increasingly obsolete technology, ABoR has negotiated a one-to-one exchange of the AEIIs to the more advanced blue iBoxes. The exchange is scheduled for October 17-20 at the Crockett Center, 10601 North Lamar Blvd., from 9 to 11:15 a.m. and 1 to 3:15 p.m. Exchanges are by appointment only.

Supra will distribute a letter to agents containing individual appointment times and the quantity of AEII lockboxes assigned in their names. Lockboxes must be assigned to the agents returning them. If you purchased a lockbox from another agent, you must transfer it to your account in order to qualify for the exchange.

iBoxes feature the security and convenience of infrared technology. The infrared capability allows for electronic storage of important information like business cards, special notes and listing notes. This storehouse of information will help agents better position listings to clients. The conversion to iBoxes will also enable many infrared personal digital assistants (PDAs) to function with the new system. iBoxes are compatible with current eKeys and dKeys.

The Crockett Center is located on North Lamar between Braker Lane and Rundberg Lane.
