REAL ESTATE INDUSTRY TRADE SHOW CANCELLED

September 8, 2005 - The Austin Board of REALTORS®' annual trade show, Realty Round Up, has been cancelled. The event was scheduled to take place at the Austin Convention Center on Wednesday, September 21. Due to the temporary housing of Hurricane Katrina evacuees in the convention center, ABoR will forego this year's festivities.

Anyone who has purchased tickets, exhibit space or event sponsorships will receive a full and timely refund. Exhibitors and sponsors were notified via e-mail about the cancellation process. All credit card transactions will be refunded by September 16. Those who made purchases with cash or through an ABoR representative should contact the person from whom they bought their tickets or call ABoR at 512/454-7636. Registrants for the "Truth in Advertising" course that was to be offered at the trade show will receive a full refund, as it has also been cancelled. The course will be offered next on November 29 at the ABoR office, located at 10900 Stonelake Blvd. in Austin. Click here to register online.
