Annual Bowling Tournament Tickets and Sponsorships Available

December 6, 2005 - - On January 26, 2006, The Austin Board of REALTORS® will host a bowling tournament to support the Texas Real Estate Political Action Committee (TREPAC), which promotes the real estate industry's interests to the legislature. The annual event will be held at AMF Showplace Lanes, located at 9504 N. IH-35 in North Austin.

The Bowling Tournament is a mixed-team event, which means that each team must consist of at least one REALTORS® and one woman. Discounted rates are available to early registrants. Before January 12, teams of four can register for $150, and single players can sign-up for $40. After January 12, teams will be charged $170 and singles $45. Single players will be assigned to incomplete teams.

Tournament check-in/late registration begins at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 26, followed by a buffet lunch and light practice. Competition commences promptly at 12 p.m. and continues until 3:30 p.m. Teams are encouraged to "dress to impress," as the best team uniform will win a prize!

Sponsorship opportunities for this exciting event are still available. Lane sponsorships, offered for $200, provide purchasers with the opportunity to be recognized at the event. For $700, companies or individuals can purchase an event sponsorship. Event sponsors receive two complimentary tickets to the tournament and will be named on all event signage and promotional materials. Finally, annual sponsorships, which cost $2,000, provide the purchaser with the same benefits as other sponsorships, plus four complimentary tickets to all TREPAC events.

The registration fee includes two hours of play, shoe rental and lunch. Non-bowlers are welcome to eat and watch the event for $10 per person. Download the tournament registration form at http://www.abor.com/news_events/2006bowlreg.pdf
