CITY COUNCIL CANDIDATES TO SPEAK WITH LOCAL REALTORS®

March 30, 2005 - The Austin Board of REALTORS® (ABoR) will hold a free question and answer session on Thursday, April 7 with the Austin City Council candidates. ABoR will hold the session at its office, located at 10900 Stonelake Blvd. Suite 100, in Auditorium B. The session will last from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. and a free barbecue lunch will be provided. "This affords REALTORS® a great opportunity to meet with our possible future city council leaders and ask them about issues concerning the REALTOR® profession," said Earl M. Hairston, ABoR director of government affairs.

Candidates Lee Leffingwell, Casey Walker, Scott Williams as well as candidates Margot Clarke, Mandy Dealey, Jennifer Kim and Gregg Knaupe will join fellow candidates Wes Benedict, Jennifer Gale and Phillip Byron Miller to discuss important topics such as smart-growth policies, improving Austin's development processes and off-premise signs.

Don't miss this great opportunity to further educate yourself on important upcoming issues while networking with fellow professionals.
