TICKETS TO ANNUAL REALTOR® CELEBRATION AVAILABLE

October 20, 2005 - Tickets to the Austin Board of REALTORS®' annual Installation and Awards Party, themed "Reaching for the Stars from a Strong Foundation," are now on sale. This year, the black-tie-optional event will be held on Friday, December 2, at the Renaissance Hotel in the Arboretum. Proceeds benefit the ABoR Foundation, which provides 10 scholarships annually to local graduating high school seniors. Tickets cost $35 or the REALTOR® Store, located at 10900 Stonelake Blvd. in Austin.

In addition, sponsorship opportunities ranging from $250 to $5,000 are available. Sponsors have the exclusive option to reserve tables in the ballroom.

This year's program includes live music from "Blind Date," $5,000 in cash giveaways, a silent auction and, at 9:45 p.m., the chance to bid on face time with one of several top producers in the Austin real estate community. The "REALTOR® Star Auction" offers between two and three hours with one of the following agents: Kay Andrews, Jay Brummett, Gary Gentry, Tom Polk, Cord Shiflet, Dee Schultz, Richard Smith and Pat Tate. Winning bidders can use the time to either talk shop or shadow their "star."
