ABoR SEEKS NOMINATIONS FOR 2006 MOST WORTHY CITIZEN

February 3, 2006 - The Austin Board of REALTORS® is currently accepting nominations for the Most Worthy Citizen (MWC) award. The annual honor has been bestowed on one deserving member of the Austin-area community since 1949. Last year, author and educator Margaret C. Berry won the award. Other past recipients include Neal Spelce, Alfred A. King, Dr. Patricia Hayes, Cactus Pryor and Ada Collins Anderson.

ABoR is asking members of the community to nominate for the 2006 MWC award individuals who have demonstrated an active and consistent concern for others' welfare. Nomination forms, which are available at the ABoR office (10900 Stonelake Blvd., Austin 78759)

The recipient of this year's MWC award will be honored at a luncheon on April 26, 2006 at the Renaissance Austin Hotel in the Arboretum. ABoR will donate $500 to the winner's non-profit organization of choice.
