ABoR FOUNDATION PROUDLY ANNOUNCES 2007 SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS
ABoR wishes a warm congratulations to the following students: John Guthery of Bastrop High School will receive the $2,000 Diane Strickland Memorial Scholarship; Lauren Collins of James Bowie High School will receive the Kay Andrews Scholarship; Hannah DeMartini of James Bowie High School will receive the Cord Shiflet Scholarship; Taryn Gilland of San Marcos High School will receive the Eric Moreland Scholarship; Jacob Hanzel of San Marcos High School will receive the Kathryn Scarborough Bechtol Scholarship; Kasey Morgan Kellar of Smithville High School will receive the Dee Shultz Scholarship.
ABoR also congratulates the following students: Wade Allan Langley of Lampasas High School will receive the Susan Doyle Scholarship; Ashli Lawson of James Bowie High School will receive the Eva Kush Scholarship; Carrie Maenius of L.B.J. High School will receive the Lisa Foster Scholarship; Ross McClendon of Hays High School will receive the Randy Newman Scholarship from Cricket Communications; Charissa Mureen of Lake Travis High School, daughter of REALTOR® Abby Mureen (Keller Williams-Lake Travis), will receive the Falcon Point Scholarship from Newland Communities; Laura Murray of Lake Travis High School, daughter of REALTOR® Ann Jeanette Farrer (Turnquist Partners REALTORS®), will receive the Teravista Scholarship from Newland Communities; Caitlin Richter of Leander High School will receive the Marjorie Ogle Memorial Scholarship.
The ABoR Foundation received many applications this year and is very proud of its scholarship winners. ABoR wishes the best of luck in their collegiate pursuits to all of these outstanding high school seniors.
The ABoR Foundation, representing more than 8,500 licensed REALTORS® in Central Texas, is a charitable organization that provides scholarships, conducts service projects in the community and helps REALTORS® and their families in the event of catastrophe. Established in 1978, the ABoR Foundation has awarded more than 260 scholarships to high school seniors to help families put their children through college.
