ABoR Celebrates Fair Housing with Education

March 15, 2007 - With Fair Housing Month fast approaching, many REALTORS® may wonder what they can do to celebrate. The Austin Board of REALTORS® has the answer! ABoR will award one winner with free registration for its Connecting with Multi-Cultural Home Buyers course, a $125 value, in honor of April's Fair Housing Month message: "A Home for Everyone - Fair Housing for All."

The 7 hour MCE course, instructed by Marcie Roggow, focuses on connecting with buyers from around the globe, ensuring that REALTORS® understand how to properly attract and communicate with multi-cultural clientele. Attendees will gain knowledge and insight into customs, cultures and behaviors of various ethnic backgrounds, helping them attain success with an ever-growing multi-cultural market. The course will be offered on Friday, April 27 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

To register, members must log in and complete an online survey dedicated to Fair Housing issues. The survey must be completed by April 13, 2007. No late entries will be accepted. One winner will be randomly selected and notified by email on Monday, April 16.

The Austin Board of REALTORS® is a non-profit, voluntary organization representing more than 8,000 licensed REALTORS® in Central Texas. For further information, please contact the Marketing Department at 512/454-7636.
