The Austin Board of REALTORS Invites Students to Get Crafty
Fair Housing Month celebrates the Fair Housing Act, a congressional movement which ensures equal real estate opportunities for all people. The Fair Housing Act prohibits discrimination based upon ethnicity, gender, marital status, disability, income or age.
First, second, and third place winners will be chosen. The first place winner will receive a family membership to the Texas State History Museum, second place will receive a $50 gift certificate to Main Event Entertainment, and the third place winner will earn a Round Rock Express Spike Kids' Club package.
The poster must be created on 8"x10" paper. Students may use any art medium to depict their ideas, including magic markers, colored pencils, crayons, etc. Students must include their name, grade, school, and date submitted on the back of the poster's upper right hand corner. Only students in Austin and surrounding school districts are eligible. All entries must be received by April 13, 2007. Entries may be hand-delivered or mailed to: Attn: Marketing, 10900 Stonelake Blvd., Ste. 100, Austin, TX 78759. Only one entry per student will be accepted. Winners will be selected on April 18 and contacted through their respective schools.
