Austin Board of REALTORS® Hosts Chili Cook-Off and Beer-Tasting
January 31, 2008 - On Tuesday, February 12, the Austin Board of REALTORS® (ABoR)
will host a Chili Cook-Off and Beer-Tasting to support the Texas Real Estate Political Action
Committee (TREPAC), which represents the real estate industry to the legislature. The event
will take place in the ABoR auditoriums from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
For $25, REALTORS® may enter the event and enjoy tastings of chilis cooked by fellow
REALTORS® and beers provided by North by Northwest Brewery. For $30, REALTORS®
may sample all chilis and beers, as well as enjoy a full bowl of their favorite chili and a full
glass of their favorite beer. Tickets will be $35 at the door.
REALTORS® and affilitiates who compete in the cook-off have the opportunity take home a
first-, second- or third-place prize. Those who would rather sample the chili than cook it may
choose to support this event as an advertiser.
