Austin Board of REALTORS® Seeks Nominations for Most Worthy Citizen Award
February 12, 2008 - The Austin Board of REALTORS® (ABoR) currently is accepting nominations
for its Most Worthy Citizen (MWC) Award. Since 1949 this annual honor has been
bestowed on one deserving member of the Austin-area community who has demonstrated
active and consistent concern for others’ welfare.
Last year, Jody Conradt, head coach of The University of Texas Women’s Basketball Team,
won the award for her work as a student mentor and community volunteer. Other past recipients
include Joseph “Joe” Jenkins, Margaret C. Berry, Neal Spelce, and Alfred A. King.
REALTORS® cannot be nominated for this award.
The recipient of this year’s MWC Award will be honored at a luncheon on Friday, April 11, at
the Renaissance Austin Hotel in the Arboretum. ABoR will donate $500 to the winner’s nonprofit
organization of choice.

Forms must be mailed or hand-delivered to the ABoR office no later than 5 p.m. on Friday,
