ABoR Foundation Hosts Mueller Development Property Tour

February 17, 2009 - The Austin Board of REALTORS® (ABoR) Foundation is kicking off the 2009 fundraising year with a tour of the Mueller Development on Wednesday, March 25.  The Mueller Development is a planned community located at north-bound I35 and 51st Street.  A mix of residential and retail buildings, the project seeks to create a sustainable neighborhood built on the principles of New Urbanism.

The event, which lasts from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., includes a tour of model homes, lunch at Mueller Center and an address by Austin Mayor Will Wynn.  Chartered buses will pick up attendees at 11 a.m. in the Mueller Development retail center.

Tickets for the Mueller Development tour are $10 each and include lunch and registration for more than $1,000 in giveaways.  The Mueller community has committed to providing the ABoR Foundation with a matching donation for each ticket sold, so this is a great opportunity to maximize your contribution.

For more information on this event or to purchase tickets, contact any of the following Friends of the Foundation: Laura Pagnozzi, chair; Connie Hentosh; Kevin Bales; Alisa Leblanc; Randi Grove; April Downey; Doren Carver; Lynn Bates; Mary Ellen Schmidt; Vicky Gouge; Linda Schulman; and Andrea Gowan.

The ABoR Foundation, representing more than 7,500 licensed REALTORS® in Central Texas, is a charitable organization that provides scholarships, conducts service projects in the community and helps REALTORS® and their families in the event of catastrophe. Established in 1978, the ABoR Foundation has awarded nearly 250 scholarships to high school seniors to help families put their children through college.
