Educating Home Buyers and Sellers

Each year, ABoR produces an extensive public awareness campaign that reaches three-fourths of all prospective homebuyers in Central Texas. Our targeted messages have resulted in positive perceptions of Central Texas REALTORS® by 74 percent of those in the market to buy or sell a home.


Previously funded in part by a member assessment, the ABoR Public Awareness Campaign is now fully financed using ABoR's general membership fund, which means no extra cost for you! While continuing to promote the value REALTORS® bring to the real estate transaction, the 2009 campaign focuses on the amazing homeownership opportunities available in Central Texas.


It is a great time to invest in Austin-area property, and we will work to ensure consumers know it. As you are aware, owning a home is still the number one way consumers build wealth. In addition to promoting property investment, ABoR has adopted a broader online approach by developing AustinHomeSearch.com content that helps consumers better understand the value of REALTORS®.


Our aggressive advertising, which promotes the value of homes in the Austin area, reaches Central Texans on television, radio, billboards, the Internet, in print and more. To view samples of how ABoR promotes homeownership in Central Texas, click the links in the "Downloads" box at the right.


Help us spread the message!
