Before you incorporate these logos into your Web site or printed materials, please review the following usage guidelines. Any misrepresentation on your part of these logos can result in your membership being revoked from the Austin Board of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®.

ABoR Member Logo Guidelines

The Austin Board of REALTORS® logo may only be used by members of the Austin Board of REALTORS® to display membership in the association. The design may not be altered in any way without written approval of the Austin Board of REALTORS®.

The logo may be printed in black and white. If colors are used, the left stem, cross stroke and lettering must be blue PMS 541 and the right stem must be yellow PMS 107. Never alter, outline, combine or superimpose the logo with respect to other symbols or designs. The font used for the lettering is TheSans SemiLight. Only this font may be used. The word “MEMBER” must be placed under the logo each time it is used. This must be in capital letters only; however, it may be in any simple font.

The logo may be reduced or enlarged proportionately; however, it may not be used as the primary logo and may not be more than 20% of the area on which it is placed. The Austin Board of REALTORS® reserves the right of approved usage of the logo.

NAR REALTOR® Logo Guidelines

The block “R” is a collective membership mark which forms the REALTOR® mark of width equal to the block “R” width. Always use the federal registration symbol “®” and the REALTOR® mark in all caps to form the logo.

Any one color may be used to print the logo on any single color background. Select a color which assures a distinct contrast between the component elements of the logo and the background material. The logo may only be printed in two colors when the REALTOR® Blue and REALTOR® Gold are used and then only if the REALTOR® Gold is used for the “R” portion of the logo. It is permissible to reverse the contrast of the REALTOR® logo but the square underlying the futura black “R” and the term REALTOR® must always be the same color.

Always separate the logo from other lettering and designs by at least 1/2 the width of the logo. Never reduce the REALTOR® logo to the point where the identifier or registration symbol is not legible. Decorative, script and futura black type faces are often difficult to read and tend to distract from the distinctiveness of the marks. Accordingly, such type faces should be avoided.

Never use the block “R” or the REALTOR® logo as part of a firm’s business name or as the first letter in a word. Never alter, outline, combine or superimpose the logo with respect to other symbols or designs.
