REALTORS®, Meet Health Care on Demand
Urgent care costs are expensive, and that’s especially true if you’re a small business owner or an independent contractor. What’s more, it can be difficult to get to an urgent care facility if you’re out in the field or at home with your kids.
Well, we have a remedy for that. As an ABoR member, you now have access to urgent care on your schedule, at your location, and at a much lower cost than many urgent care facilities. Introducing...Remedy.
What is Remedy?
Remedy is Central Texas’ top-rated urgent care solution. From 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. every day, Remedy provides same-day house calls throughout the Austin area (often within two hours) and secure, on-demand video visits. Both services can work with or without insurance, and prescriptions are sent directly to your pharmacy. There’s a 100% satisfaction guarantee, so if Remedy can’t treat you, you don’t pay.

How Does Remedy Work?
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use Remedy for an emergency?
Remedy's provider partners can handle most minor emergencies including stitches, sprains, and broken bones. IMPORTANT: If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, you should call 911 or proceed to the nearest Hospital Emergency Room.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations are accepted by phone only (512-900-5844). After booking appointment, you have 10 minutes to cancel for a full refund. After this, the dispatch fee is nonrefundable.
Do you treat children?
Yes! Remedy's provider partners treat children age 1 year and up. For children under one, call us and we may be able to help.
Who will treat me?
Remedy's provider partners include board-certified physicians, physician assistants, and advanced practice nurses. Every provider is thoroughly background and license checked, and extensively interviewed in order to assure that they meet Remedy's standards of care. Check out our reviews on Facebook, Yelp, and Google Local. We are the top-rated urgent care provider in Central Texas.
Does Remedy accept insurance?
Yes! Remedy's partner providers are in-network with Aetna, Blue Cross, Humana, and United Healthcare insurance plans. Our provider partner will collect your primary care co-pay at the time of your visit and then bill your insurance. Depending on your plan, you may be responsible for additional payments including deductible and/or co-insurance; however, Remedy's prices are competitive with conventional urgent care facilities.
Do I need multiple Remedy accounts for each family member?
No. Your Remedy account (including your one-time $120 credit and ongoing discounts) can be used for you and your entire family. The exception is if there are multiple ABoR Realtor members in your household -- in that case, two separate accounts are needed so that you both will receive your $120 credit.
Do you prescribe painkillers?
Our providers can write a variety of medications that are very effective for acute pain. However, we do not prescribe scheduled or controlled substances.
What Members are Saying...
I called Remedy and they were at our house in less than an hour. Dr. Gordon took our vitals and temp and gave us a flu test which turned out to be positive. She called in our medications to HEB. We found out later that HEB would have delivered those with no delivery charge had we signed prescription release papers in advance at HEB ... IF you’re enrolled in Remedy. We’re both taking our meds now and on the road to recovery. Needless to say we were both thrilled to have been previously enrolled in Remedy. -- Kay Solomon Andrews
What About Referrals?
The Refer Remedy program helps you make the most of one of your most valuable assets - your network. For each new patient referred to Remedy, both you and the patient will receive account credits for discounted future services.
