Can I use Remedy for an emergency?
Remedy's provider partners can handle most minor emergencies including stitches, sprains, and broken bones. IMPORTANT: If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, you should call 911 or proceed to the nearest Hospital Emergency Room.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations are accepted by phone only (512-900-5844). After booking appointment, you have 10 minutes to cancel for a full refund. After this, the dispatch fee is nonrefundable.
Do you treat children?
Yes! Remedy's provider partners treat children age 1 year and up. For children under one, call us and we may be able to help.
Who will treat me?
Remedy's provider partners include board-certified physicians, physician assistants, and advanced practice nurses. Every provider is thoroughly background and license checked, and extensively interviewed in order to assure that they meet Remedy's standards of care. Does Remedy accept insurance?
Yes! Remedy's partner providers are in-network with Aetna, Blue Cross, Humana, and United Healthcare insurance plans. Our provider partner will collect your primary care co-pay at the time of your visit and then bill your insurance. Depending on your plan, you may be responsible for additional payments including deductible and/or co-insurance; however, Remedy's prices are competitive with conventional urgent care facilities.
Do I need multiple Remedy accounts for each family member?
No. Your Remedy account (including your one-time $120 credit and ongoing discounts) can be used for you and your entire family. The exception is if there are multiple ABoR Realtor members in your household -- in that case, two separate accounts are needed so that you both will receive your $120 credit.
Do you prescribe painkillers?
Our providers can write a variety of medications that are very effective for acute pain. However, we do not prescribe scheduled or controlled substances.
