As of Tuesday, February 19, ShowingTime will become a showing service option in the ABoR MLS. Listing agents will be able to subscribe to ShowingTime and then use the service for their listing(s), similar to the current setup the ABoR MLS has with Centralized Showing Service (CSS).

To be clear: ShowingTime is not included in your ABoR MLS subscription and not included as a subscriber benefit; we have simply integrated ShowingTime as a showing service option for those listing agents who would like to use the service.

What is ShowingTime?

ShowingTime is a scheduling service that helps real estate agents manage listings based on appointment type, while providing tools to easily communicate updates to listings. So, whether an agent is booking a walk-through or an appraisal, ShowingTime helps with scheduling out all of your listing needs.

How will this effect what I see on the ABoR MLS?

Subscribers will see minimal changes to the ABoR MLS. Beginning Tuesday, February 19, a ShowingTime icon (see below) will be displayed above the property image on the “Agent 1 Page,” as well as a link in the “Showing Information” section. Whether a listing agent is using CSS or ShowingTime, the icon/link will take the user outside of Matrix, and into the showing service.

Do agents need to do anything?

No action is required. Subscribers will simply notice the new ShowingTime icon and link to schedule a showing in the ABoR MLS once they log in.

Will ShowingTime be mandatory to use?

No. ShowingTime is not mandatory for listing agents to use as their showing option. However, just like with CSS, when a listing has ShowingTime as the showing service preference, a buyer's agent must use ShowingTime to schedule the showing.

How much does it cost to use this showing service?

The cost for ShowingTime's products varies based on things like listing volume, however, MLS subscribers can always request a quote from the ShowingTime Front Desk or Appointment Center.
