Kevin P. Scanlan, President

Kevin has been active with the Austin Board of REALTORS® since 2006 when he served as an ACTRIS Director, and also as a Chair in 2009. He has served on many committees in the span of a decade including the Bylaws, Investment, and Audit committees, and has provided services in work groups such as RPR Focus Group, Board of Directors Policy Work Group, Fusion/MLS Task Force, and Strategic Planning. Kevin has served on the Board of Directors since 2016, most recently as Secretary/Treasurer for the Board in 2018. Kevin has been appointed by his fellow Board members to step into the role of Board President beginning in 2019.

Kevin received a BA in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin and has been a licensed REALTOR® since 2000. Kevin is a broker/owner of All City Real Estate, the fastest-growing brokerage in Texas. In his free time, Kevin enjoys spending time with his two boys, Joseph and Jake. He also loves to play softball, basketball, and golf.

Romeo Manzanilla, President Elect

Romeo has been a REALTOR® member of the Austin Board of REALTORS since 2006 and has earned his SFR, CDRS, ASP, TRLP and Broker designations. His formal education includes a B.S. in Business from the University of Southern California and a Masters of Business Administration from Regis University.

Romeo's leadership experience began in the military where he served as a U.S. Naval Officer and continued on at Dell as an Operations Manager. He is the Broker in Charge of Realty Austin. Romeo has been active with ABoR by participating on the Grievance, Installation, Nominating, Diversity, Strategic Plan Task Force, Professional Development Committee, as well as having served as an ABoR Director from 2015 - 2017. He is also active at the state level by participating on TAR's Professional Standards Committee and serving as a TAR Mediator. Romeo actively volunteers his time for both Habitat for Humanity as well as with Foundations Communities. When not working or volunteering, Romeo enjoys spending time with his wife Monica and teenage son, Diego and actively participates in organized automotive driving events in the Central Texas area.

Steve Crorey, Immediate Past President

Steve has been a Broker/REALTOR® and member of ABoR since 1989. Throughout his time at ABoR, he has served on several committees and task forces, including Professional Standards (2013 Chair), Community Relations (2014 Chair), Bylaws, Grievance, and Scholarship. Steve was the 2018 President of the ABoR Board of Directors and the 2016 Chair of the Budget & Audit Committees, as well as the 2016 Chairman of the ABoR Foundation (Philanthropic Arm). Steve is also active at the state level, serving on TAR's Professional Standards Committee, with duties ranging from Ethics hearing panelist to TAR certified Mediator and Ombudsman. Steve remains an active TREPAC investor and believes in its fundamental goals and purpose.

Steve has received both an undergraduate (BBA-Finance) and graduate (MS-Psychology) degrees from Southwest Texas State, and graduated from the ABOR/TAR Leadership Academy in 2013. In addition to his service with ABoR, Steve finds personal balance and feels that it is an important responsibility to volunteer for several community non-profits. He is an active volunteer for Meals on Wheels (weekly since 1993), Texas Leukemia Society (since 2001), Habitat for Humanity (since 2007), and Hill Country Ride (since 2009). Steve is also the 2012 recipient of ABoR's Community Service Award.

When he is not volunteering his time, Steve's hobbies and passions include home renovation and construction projects, cycling (road & mountain), adventure travel, scuba, and trips to the coast with his dogs. He recently purchased his first RV, so he can visit state parks and surrounding states around the country in his spare time.

Susan Horton, Secretary/Treasurer

A licensed broker since 2009 and member of ABoR for over 10 years, Susan has 28 years of real estate experience. She has served on several committees and boards, including ABoR's Legislative Management Team, Governmental Affairs, Education, Professional Standards, Grievance, History Task Force, and has even been the chair of the Ambassadors Task Force. She has served as Foundation Director/Chair and assisted with the Foundation Scholarships, the Fan Drive, and Habitat for Humanity. Outside of her local Association contributions, Susan was also PAC Trustee/Chair, TAR TREPAC Trustee, WCR Past Officer, and a past CRS Committee Chair.

Susan's honors encompass designations to teach NAR Builders Courses: CRS, GRI, and SRS, and certification in Mentor By Referral Only. She is also a 3 time Platinum Top 50 REALTOR® Winner, 2015 ABoR Salesperson of the Year, 2016 HBA REALTOR® of the Year, 2007 WCR Entrepreneur of the Year, and 1995 ABoR Affiliate of the Year. Her leadership training includes Graduate of ABoR TRLP (2011), Graduate TRLP Spokesperson Training (2009 - 2011), WCR Leadership Training (2004), Brian Buffini Leadership Mastery, and John Maxwell 360 Degree Leadership Training in 2010.

Her volunteer efforts include her involvement on the Home Builders Association Sales & Marketing Council, WCR's Bras for a Cause, CRS, Any Baby Can, TAR, TREPAC, the Humane Society, the Children's Center, as well as her participation and support at the Gateway Community Church. Additionally, Susan loves seeking out learning opportunities, dancing, playing golf, gardening, and cooking for her family and friends.

Jonathan Boatwright

Jonathan Boatwright is co-founder, co-owner, and Chief Technology Officer of Realty Austin and has been a licensed REALTOR® since 2004. After spending 16 years as an IT professional with Apple, Motorola, and Microsoft, Jonathan turned in his employee badge in order to leverage his diverse internet technology background to fill a void he saw in the residential real estate industry.

In 2004, Jonathan joined forces with his wife and real estate broker Yvette Boatwright to build a different kind of real estate company, one that embraces the latest technology in order to provide innovative systems for its clients and all aspects of its agents’ businesses. Realty Austin has grown into a team of 415 top-producing agents who together achieved $2.2B in sales in 2016, propelling them to the #1 independent real estate firm in Austin.

Jonathan has been an Eanes Education Foundation Platinum Community Partner; is a sponsor at the Home Builder level with Foundation Communities; is a sponsor and volunteer with Austin Habitat for Humanity; is a sponsor and volunteer with the Austin Children's Shelter; has participated with GEN Austin Pathfinder Giving Circle; and was an Austin Under 40 nominee. At ABoR, Jonathan has served as a volunteer in multiple committees, including the MLS Advisory Committee, the MLS Strategic Policy Committee,  the ACTRIS Committee, the Syndication Task Force, and Austin Home Search Task Force.

John Crowe

Originally from Tucson, Arizona, John Crowe arrived in Austin in 1994. After serving in the corporate world for 16 years, he decided to devote his full attention to his hobby of remodeling homes. He earned his real estate license and joined the Austin Board of REALTORS® in 2008 and, in 2011, became a broker.

John believes the mission of the board is to serve the membership, making it easier for Austin REALTORS® to perform their jobs and more effectively assist clients. As a board member and active agent, his goal is to engage membership and represent their needs. John has served on the ABOR Grievance Committee, the Growth and Development Policy Team, and the Texas Association of REALTORS®’ Professional Standards Committee.

Prior to focusing on real estate, John spent more than a decade in communications and marketing for technology companies and public affairs organizations. He earned a BA in government from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. John is actively involved with the Meals on Wheels Groceries to Go program, the Green Corn Project, SAFE, and Austin Pets Alive. He lives in central Austin with his wife, son, daughter, and a small fleet of pets.

Job Hammond

An avid learner and seasoned salesperson, Job comes to us by way of California. Upon completing his B.S. in Management from Excelsior College, Job pursued his MBA from Tarleton State University (2012) as well as a Master of Science in Management from Texas A&M University-Commerce (2014). A licensed Realtor® for 11 years, he has since completed more than 180 courses and holds 21 designations and certifications, including the At Home with Diversity Certification (AHWD), NAR Green Designation (GREEN) and the Resort & Second-Home Property Specialist Certification (RSPS).

Job is passionate about housing affordability, property rights and market health, and he hopes to help maintain the momentum needed to ensure members have their needs met by advocating for more transparency and instituting changes through member input. When he is not being a proponent for change in the real estate industry, Job is actively seeking out someone who can teach him more and discovering ways of decreasing his carbon footprint.

Ashley Jackson

A Realtor® member for 6 years, Ashley holds a B.A. in English Literature and an M.A. in Liberal Studies from St. Edward's University. Her strengths are represented in her expansive background in neighborhood activism and campaign management, for which she believes has bolstered her relationships with her clients and community alike.

Ashley is a past president of the Northeast Walnut Creek Neighborhood Association (2010 - 2013) and has even served as the City of Austin Building and Standards Commissioner (2015 -2017). Since obtaining her real estate license, Ashley has also served on the ABoR Growth and Development Committee (2013 - 2015), the ABoR Legislative Management Team (2015 - 2018) as well as the ABoR AISD Task Force (2016 - 2017).

When Ashley is not selling homes, she's usually gardening, knitting, or exploring Austin's parks, breweries and restaurants with her family.

Charlotte Lipscomb

As a fourth-generation Texan who’s been a REALTOR® in Austin since 1984, Charlotte Lipscomb considers giving back to the community — both personally and professionally — a vital part of living, working and thriving in the Austin community. She's been recognized by the Austin Board of REALTORS® as Volunteer of the Year and has even served on the MLS Syndication Advisory Task Force. Prior to joining Compass Real Estate, Charlotte helped form Austin Portfolio Real Estate/Keller Williams Luxury International, and was an AvenueOne Properties shareholder for more than 25 years, where she also served in a variety of board roles.

Charlotte has a very long history in Austin real estate and has qualified as a member of the Elite25 for 22 years, and also holds the CRS and CLHMS designations. For the past seven years, she has been awarded the Texas Monthly Five Star Professional recognition. Personally, she has devoted time and energy to a variety of community causes, such as the Junior League of Austin, Coats for Kids, Austin Junior Forum, the Women’s Symphony League of Austin, Ballet Austin, Preservation Austin, the Blanton Museum of Art, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, Umlauf Sculpture Gardens, Eanes ISD parent organizations including the Eanes Education Foundation, and much more.

Robert McKenna

Bob has been a Primary REALTOR® member of the Austin Board of REALTORS® for 13 years. He has served on several committees including ABoR Professional Standards, 2006-2011, ABoR ACTRIS/MLS 2014 and ABoR MLS Strategic Policy 2015-2016 (Vice Chair/Chair). Bob has served at the State Level by participating on TAR’s Professional Standards Committee 2012-present.

Bob received a Bachelor of Science in Management Science and Computer Systems with a minor in Economics from Oklahoma State University. He also received a Master of Business Administration (Dual Concentrations in International Management and Entrepreneurship) from Rice University and is a graduate of the Texas REALTOR® Leadership Program (TRLP in 2013). Bob holds the ABR, CRS, E-Pro, GRI, CNE, designations.

Bob’s volunteer work includes serving on the Circle C Ranch Homeowners Association Board of Directors from 2014-2016. Bob’s hobbies include traveling with family, reading and golf.

Shay Millheiser

Shay graduated from the University of Texas and holds designations in ABR and CLHMS. She has served on the ABoR Housing Issues Policy Team and Development Policy Team, as well as the Shalom Austin Finance Committee.

Prior to working as Realtor®, Shay worked in residential construction where she managed over 100 renovation and new construction projects. With a combined 10.5 years in the industry, Shay hopes to provide a voice for the influx of Realtor® members under the age of 30 that have recently started working in real estate. In her free time, Shay likes to spend time with her husband and four dogs. She also enjoys performing improvisational comedy and exercising with friends, so she can indulge in the Austin food scene guilt-free.

Kent Redding

Kent is a lifelong native of Texas and has been living in Austin for 38 years. A member of ABoR since 2003, he has since earned designations in GRI, ABR, as well as CLHMS, and has even been an Austin Platinum TOP50 Award Winner (2011 - 2018). Kent has served on the TAR Member Benefits Committee (2010 - 2012) and Professional Standards Committee (2017 - current).

As a director, Kent would like to give back to the community that has supported him for the past 15 years by ensuring that every member's input is acknowledged. In doing so, Kent hopes to engage membership, build trust, and help provide the tools necessary to be a successful Realtor® member.

Kent often volunteers for Mobile Loaves and Fishes, a facet of Community First! Village, which assists individuals experiencing homelessness in Central Texas. When he is not advocating for his fellow members, Kent enjoys reading, running, basketball, and spending time with his wife Louise and their two adult children.

Ryan Rodenbeck

Ryan grew up in a small town in Louisiana and moved to Texas when he was 21 years old. His career was sparked when he started his first company with his sister, fellow realtor Dena Davis, at the age of 24, processing siding claims for homeowners. Shortly thereafter, Ryan started his own brokerage and property management company where they sold investment property and managed multi-family and single-family residences. Within 3 years the company grew to include offices and properties in Houston and San Antonio, as well as the existing office in Austin. The management company grew to 500 doors. But growing a business that fast comes with its share of headaches and he quickly realized that property management was not his forte. A property manager had left for another company and left a big mess to clean up in her wake. Ryan enlisted his wife, Angel, a then practicing CPA to come into the business and help clean it up. This is where their life began as not only husband and wife, but also long-term business partners. After several months of cleaning up accounts and setting things straight, Ryan sold the accounts and started Spyglass Realty and Investments.

Since 2011, Ryan has been recognized by the Platinum Top 50 Realtors and the ABJ as a top producing agent. He’s grown his company from his home to a boutique brokerage of 17 agents in Austin and Houston. His ABoR committee involvement, includes the MLS Advisory Committee, the MLS Operations Committee, and the ACTRIS Rules Advisory Committee.

Cord Shiflet

Cord has been a member of ABoR for over 20 years. As a Board Member, Cord seeks to inspire positive change locally as well as at both State and National levels. At the association level, Cord focuses on keeping members and their interests at the forefront of every decision,  enabling a culture of member-driven decisions, and ensuring every member has a voice, Moreover, Cord pushed to build awareness regarding what ABoR is accomplishing in order to enhance REALTOR business and the client’s interests.

Cord served a one-year term on the Board of Directors in 2015 and was nominated for a full three-year term in 2016. he has actively been involved at ABoR, serving on the Government Affairs Committee, Audit Committee, and the ACTRIS Advisory Committee.

Austin Stowell

Working in the real estate industry for 15 years, Austin graduated from the Pharm. D Program at the University of Texas. Currently, Austin holds the position of president for the 12 Waller Home Owner's Association, as well as Master Developer of the 12 Waller Community on East 12th Street. He is also a member of the Old Austin Neighborhood Association, the Robertson Hill Neighborhood Association, and remains an active participant City of Austin development process.

Austin hopes to bring his development experience to the Board of Directors, bridging the gap between city council and the local real estate market, and ensuring that the BOD is more proactive in meeting the demands of the clients it serves. Away from his work, Austin enjoys spending time in Colorado, running the trail on Town Lake, and chasing after his two sons.

Brian Talley

Brian Talley is a 5th generation Texan and the founder of boutique local brokerage Regent Property Group, where he manages a team of independent real estate agents. Brian has deep experience selling homes in the Austin area and has earned the Austin Business Journal Top 25 Residential Real Estate Award and the Platinum Top 50 award. Brian’s philosophy utilizes many paths to success, including genuinely caring for others and building deep community connections.

Brian is a graduate of the Texas REALTORS® Leadership Academy, and he volunteers with the ABoR Budget Committee and the City of Austin Commissioner’s Building and Standards Commission. He served as an Austin Board of REALTORS® Director during 2017 and on the Austin/Central Texas Realty Information Services (ACTRIS) Advisory Committee for several years. He also has served on the Syndication Task Force, Nomination PAG, and AustinHomeSearch.com task force. During 2009 to 2014, Talley was a board member elect on the Ridge at Lantana Home Owners’ Association.
