Recent changes in the mortgage and appraisal industry have a direct impact on real estate. As a result, it’s necessary for real estate agents to understand appraisals and who the appraiser works for. The purpose of this class is to provide insight into the residential appraisal process. Class will provide the knowledge to understand the definition of and recognize a valid appraisal, elements of the appraisal process, and what to do if a property does not appraise for the estimated value and how to proceed if it's determined that a correction needs to be made to the appraisal report.
