Just taking a quick look at the bylaw revisions. Curious how much it costs the membership to continue waiving local fees, and paying TAR and NAR dues on their behalf. Can we have an accounting and rationale? Thanks.
Life Membership is a category of membership outlined in the NAR Model Bylaws. The criteria for such membership is very restrictive: 1) held membership as a REALTOR Member for 25 consecutive years, 2) at least 70 years old, 3) has contributed to the Association, and 4) is retired from the real estate brokerage profession. ABoR currently has no members that fall within this member class.
