The quality of area schools is consistently one of the most important factors that homebuyers consider when choosing a new home. Homebuyers want to know how local schools measure up and they often look to their REALTOR® to point them in the right direction.

That’s why the Austin Board of REALTORS® and Austin ISD have partnered to educate local REALTORS® about neighborhood schools, equipping them with the knowledge to become expert resources for their clients. One avenue for this is to connect schools and REALTORS® directly so members can learn about schools straight from their administrators and students.

On Wednesday, March 21, REALTORS® will have the opportunity to learn about area schools first-hand by participating in the ABoR + Austin ISD Tour of Schools. The school bus tour will take place from 8:10 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. and participants should meet at Clifton Career Development School. Coffee, pastries, and transportation to each of the schools and back to the AISD PAC will be provided. The bus will leave promptly at 8:30 a.m. The schools included in this exclusive REALTOR® School Tour are all magnet schools that are open for application to all AISD residents:

On previously-scheduled tours, REALTORS® have had the opportunity to tour schools in all parts of the City. From Pease Elementary, one of Austin’s oldest founded in 1876, to Padrón Elementary, a fully modernized campus fashioned from a repurposed warehouse in 2014, REALTORS® have had the chance to learn about the many innovative and creative approaches the district has deployed to educate a 21st Century Workforce.
