New TREC Contract Forms Review

The 2 Old Chicks (a broker and a real estate lawyer) will review and explain the recent revisions to promulgated TREC contract forms with emphasis on best practices and practical examples for completing and using the updated contract forms. We will begin with an in-depth look at the 1-4 Family Residential Contract and new Residential Lease and Fixture Lease addenda, and then highlight any differences in each of the other TREC promulgated contract forms. We will also review changes made to the Addendum for Property Subject to Mandatory Membership in a Property Owners Association.
