FAQs
Any Primary and Secondary REALTOR® member in good standing is eligible to vote.
This year, five, three-year term positions for 2023-2025 will be filled.
The nominating process is an extensive application process that is broadly communicated to the entire membership each spring. We'd like to send a special thanks to the ABoR Vetting Committee for their hard work and dedication during this process.
Please see the Leadership Nominating Process FAQs for more information.
The ABoR Bylaws allow members to promote additional candidates through a petition process. A petition for a candidate must contain original and/or electronic signatures by at least one percent of REALTOR® members of ABoR who are eligible to vote, with no more than 25 percent from one company (Article X, Section G.)
Primary and Secondary REALTOR® members interested in being added to the election ballot by way of petition should email executive@abor.com for more instructions. Petitions were due before September 1, 2022.
Staff will verify petitions contain signatures of one percent of Primary or Secondary REALTORS® with no more than 25 percent of signatures from one company. Once deemed valid, the petitioner will be added to the ballot of nominees for member-wide election.
The ABoR Bylaws provide the complete detail of the nominating and board election process in addition to outlining the opportunity for members to propose additional candidates through a petition process. Please see the Leadership Nominating Process FAQs for more information.
