Member Agreement

ABoR Member and ACTRIS Subscriber Agreement

By submitting this application, I agree to abide by the Bylaws and Code of Ethics of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), Texas REALTORS® (TR), the Austin Board of REALTORS® (ABoR); the rules and regulations of the Austin-Central Texas Realty Information Service (ACTRIS), if I subscribe to ACTRIS; and ABoR’s Website Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, as amended from time to time. I also affirm that the information provided herein is true and correct to the best of my knowledge. I agree that failure to provide complete and accurate information as requested, or any misstatement of fact, can be grounds for revocation of my membership.

I understand that this is a legal agreement between ABoR and me, and if indicated, between ACTRIS and me. This Agreement shall continue until terminated by ABoR or ACTRIS, as applicable, for my breach of the Agreement, including, for example, my failure to pay fees, attend required classes, or abide by the ABoR or ACTRIS rules and regulations, as applicable. ABoR and ACTRIS reserve the right to amend this Agreement without prior notice by posting updates or changes to ABoR.com. I understand that my continued use of or access to ABoR and ACTRIS services following the posting of any changes constitutes my acceptance of those changes.

Furthermore, by submitting this application, I understand that the annual membership renewal for ABoR, TR and NAR is due December 31. I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to pay dues in a timely manner, whether or not a mailed bill or an e-bill was received; and that I will be asked to pay a $27.06 reinstatement fee (includes tax) after January 1 if membership has not been renewed by that date. REALTOR® local, state, and national dues are non-refundable.

As an ABoR member and/or MLS subscriber, I understand I will automatically receive electronic invoices for dues and charges to my account. E-bills will be sent to the e-mail address I provide.

I understand that I am required to attend New Member Orientation within 120 days of this application. If I do not attend within the allotted time, my membership will be terminated and it will be necessary to reapply for membership, paying all applicable fees.

I understand that by providing my mailing address(es), e-mail address(es), telephone number(s), and fax number(s), I consent to receive communications from ABoR, ACTRIS, TR and NAR via U.S. mail, e-mail or other electronic message, telephone or facsimile at those number(s)/location(s). I understand that ABoR and ACTRIS use the information I submit in this application as described in its Privacy Policy.

ACTRIS Subscribers Only: I understand that subscription to ACTRIS requires me to agree to a separate agreement called the “Participant/Subscriber Agreement.” The provisions of this Agreement are cumulative with those set out in the Participant/Subscriber Agreement, and in the event of any conflict between this Agreement and terms of the Participant/Subscriber Agreement will prevail. I acknowledge that SUPRA Key service is also subject to a separate agreement. ACTRIS subscription fees, as well as SUPRA Key fees, are due semi-annually on March 31 and September 30. I will be asked to pay a $16.24 reinstatement fee (includes tax) if renewing my MLS subscription after April 1 and October 1, respectively. All ACTRIS and Supra Key fees are non-refundable. I understand that I am encouraged to attend MLS training in order to become skilled and knowledgeable in the MLS system and will take advantage of the MLS courses and resources offered to me by ABoR/ACTRIS.
