Anne Wheeler

Anne is a native Texan who grew up in Fort Worth. She got to Austin as soon as she could to attend the University of Texas at Austin, graduating with a BBA. In 1977, she began her career in real estate and obtained her Broker’s license in 1982. Anne co-founded Wheeler McCarroll Realtors in 1985, which became one of Austin’s most respected brokerages for the next decade. In 1995, Anne joined Moreland Properties, and in January 2001 she joined Gottesman Residential Real Estate.
Anne is passionate about meeting her clients’ real estate needs and exceeding their expectations. She seeks innovative and effective ways to better serve her clients through continuing education, training, and networking. She holds several real estate designations, including Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, Certified Residential Specialist, Certified Negotiation Specialist, and Accredited Buyer Representative.
Every year since 2010, Anne has been named a Five Star Real Estate Agent by Texas Monthly, an honor based on client evaluation and peer review. Anne is a member of the Austin Luxury Network and the Million Dollar Guild of CLHMN. Her success is built on achieving the desired results for her clients through broad-range market knowledge and her negotiation skills, which she’s honed through her years of experience. Anne is committed to giving back to her community and to the real estate industry by serving on the ABoR Board of Directors.
