Rental Registration Voted Down
On November 21, Austin City Council voted unanimously to withdraw three separate rental registration ordinances that would have created a pilot rental registration program in three Austin areas. ABoR continues to advocate for private property rights and other issues affecting the real estate industry.
Say "No" to Flood of Insurance Increases
Congress is taking action to reform the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) following a number of devastating and costly storms in the US. The proposed changes, including updated flood maps, however, could mean increased flood insurance for Americans. Tell Congress and the United States Senate to protect homeownership by keeping flood insurance low.
Syndication Survey: Give ABoR Your Feedback
The decision to cease listing syndication to non-REALTOR® consumer websites is a significant step for the Association. We want to hear your feedback. ABoR members are encouraged to complete this syndication survey to help ABoR prepare you in the coming months.
